Students in Mrs. Sally Bowers’ second grade reading class at Jefferson Davis Academy creatively decorated pumpkins to resemble book characters. They then completed a book report to describe their character.
JDA held a pumpkin parade in which everyone could view the book character pumpkins. Some famous book characters created included Captain Underpants, Junie B. Jones, Piggie and Gerald and the Bad Guys, plus many more!
