Shelby Broomfield, the outgoing director of DIG, is thanked by DIG founder Steven Brown.
The Dreams, Imagination & Gift Development Program honored program director Shelby Broomfield on March 2 in Williston with a surprise going away party. Broomfield, a native of Barnwell, has served DIG for the past five years.
"Shelby had been a blessing to me, the families of DIG, the students and the community. Shelby thank you for trusting me to lead, for sacrificing many of hours, dedicating your entire self to DIG and it’s vision," said DIG founder Steven Brown.
Broomfield left DIG to work for the Lower Savannah Council of Governments.
