Omarion Williams, Williston-Elko High School’s first I.T. apprentice, participated in a panel in an event sponsored by Apprenticeship Carolina called, “Digitally Securing SC Through Apprenticeships” on Nov. 9.
He was the youngest member on the panel and did an excellent job representing Barnwell County Consolidated School District and Williston-Elko High School.
Omarion has worked as an I.T. apprentice for the past two years, and will continue to work in the school and district’s I.T. department after graduation.
He looks forward to learning more with the I.T. department.
