Newspaper owner visits Williston kindergartners

Jonathan Vickery, the publisher/owner of The People-Sentinel, visited the kindergartners at Kelly Edwards Elementary School in Williston on October 13 as part of their Community Helpers unit. He spoke about his role as a journalist, the skills needed to be a journalist, and the vital role newspapers play in keeping people informed. He also spoke about the importance of journalists being factual and unbiased. Other community helpers also visited the students last week.
