Rev. McKinley and Evangelist Gwendolyn H. Neal of Barnwell celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 10, 2023. The couple was married on June 10, 1973.
Their wedding vows were reaffirmed at the Blackville Community Center in Blackville. A surprise celebration was given by the couple's children.
The couple serve at Shrub Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Blackville.
They have five children: Rodrick & Sharranda Neal, Mikkia & Tramel Johnson, LaRone Neal, Lindsay & Travis Esterline, and Gabriel & Demetria Neal. They also have 16 grandchildren.
