Deputies asked McGregor where he got his supply of drugs, but he refused to answer.

As he was transported to the Barnwell County Detention Center to await bond, McGregor was asked by deputies,

“While selling narcotics, did he ever fear that someone would overdose or die. McGregor as first stated ‘no’ due to believing in the product he sold. McGregor then stated that he did think about someone possibly dying from narcotics he sold. McGregor stated that he had a friend several years ago overdose and die in Florida,” according to the report.

The deputy asked McGregor what narcotic his friend took. “McGregor stated a Xanax laced with Fentanyl,” stated the report.
