On Monday, December 12, 2022, from 4 - 6 p.m., several teachers and administrators from Williston-Elko High School volunteered at the McDonald’s in Barnwell for a McTeacher’s Night. All the proceeds during the allotted time can be used by the high school for various funding. The night was a success with Mrs. Hannah Johnson helping to run the register, with Mr. Tony Flowers and Mrs. Mary Wright helping to put in orders in the back, and with Dr. Cynthia Walden, Mr. Jaya Konka, and Mrs. Alison Brady ensuring that everyone knew to come to McDonald’s for McTeacher night! The teachers and administrators were able to learn and earn to help the school.
