Kelly Edwards 4th and 5th grade Scholars Academy attended a field trip to the Ruth Patrick Science Center. There they were able to take part in the program, “Defying Gravity.” They learned about gravity, the night sky including planets, constellations, along with Greek Mythology related to the constellations. The second program was titled, “Polygon Puzzle,” The students were challenged to create the six different types of triangles using only 3 triangles. The students had an astronomical time.
