The administration and faculty at MEMS celebrated American Education Week the week of November 14-18.

Each staff member was celebrated with various treats each day compliments of the Barnwell County Consolidated School District and provided a free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

The counseling department in conjunction with the office administrative secretary staff is preparing the Angel Tree Project for students that attend MEMS. This project was started several years ago and continues to be a big success. Students are randomly chosen by teachers and community members, staff members, etc. Each child receives gifts from his or her gift list prior to our dismissal for the winter break.

On Monday, November 14, 2022, Principal Eryl Smalls, staff members, parents and students attended and participated in McTeacher Night at McDonald’s in Barnwell. The event was a huge success!
