Ten members of the Barnwell County Career Center FFA Chapter traveled four hours to the SC FFA Camping Center located marsh side in Cherry Grove.
The group and their advisors, Mindy Sandifer and Christle Tindall, participated in rotations daily to build teambuilding skills throughout the week-long camp. Rotations included the low ropes course, the high ropes course, kayaking, pool time, and archery.
The group also was broken into color teams along with some 150 other students from across SC for “color wars”. During this activity, team members competed in various games such as volleyball, dairyman’s water relay, tug-of-war, sandcastle build-off, puzzle assembly, checkers, rock/ paper/ scissors, basketball, etc.
During their time on the SC coast, the group also attended the Carolina Opry show and visited Murrell’s Inlet for seafood.
