The Town of Fairfax held its inaugural Christmas Festival Dec. 8-9. The town’s Christmas tree was lit at a Christmas Tree Lighting Service on Friday, Dec. 8. Mayor Butch Sauls and the Fairfax Town Council thanked town employees for their work setting up the tree and the town’s Christmas decorations. Several food trucks served Gullah food to residents and carolers sang a variety of Christmas classics. The community fun continued on Saturday with dancing, activities, and a luncheon served by town leaders.
