Barnwell High School (BHS) students met with local industries and businesses to share resumes and get inspiration for the future at the school’s first in-person career fair since the pandemic.
Students met with representatives from universities such as Paine College, USC Beaufort, USC Salkehatchie, USC Aiken, and more to learn about the many academic programs available to them.
Industries like Dobbs Equipment, Dominion Energy, Swiss Krono, S.C. Department of Transportation, Phoenix Specialty, and Cascades, shared professional insight about starting a career locally.
Branches such as the marine corps, army, and coast guard informed students of the opportunities of a military career.
Representatives from Clemson Extension, Low Country Health Care, and Barnwell Chiropractic were present alongside the Southern Palmetto Regional Chamber of Commerce and The People-Sentinel.
