Sigma Pi and Beta Lambda Chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. held their 2022 Achievement Week Program in November at Cumberland A.M.E. Church in Aiken. Pictured is Cadence Brown of Williston-Elko High School and Timothy Wayne Beard from Blackville-Hilda High School. Cadence placed third in the local chapter essay competition and received a cash prize of $50. In addition, her essay will be sent to nationals to see if she makes it to the next round. Timothy was one of four young men from Blackville-Hilda High School who was present and received his certificate. The other three recipients from BHHS were Andrew Murice Brown, Jamari Deshawn Parker and Jakori Ma’son Williams.
