Allendale County Student Graduates from SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities

The SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities will hold its 2023 commencement ceremony on May 26 at Furman University’s McAlister Auditorium. One student from Allendale County is among the 84 graduates in the Class of 2023.

Jet Joyner - A Visual Arts student from Barnwell, Joyner previously attended Allendale Fairfax High School. Joyner reserved as a Student Ambassador and Hall Executive. Joyner was also a member of the Student Council, Honor Council, Chemistry Club, Multicultural Club, Dungeons & Dragons Club, and yearbook staff. After graduation, Joyner will attend Converse University to study Sculpture.
