On our way back from Aiken tonight (August 13), we stopped at Fuller Park. The playground was filled with trash… water bottles, juice boxes, tissues, paper plates. Gina began picking the trash up.
Please take pride in Barnwell, and respect the community by cleaning up your trash!

Shout out and big thank you to Officer Ortiz of the Barnwell Police Department for stopping tonight (August 13) to check on our vehicles.
I had left a light on in my car; Officer Ortiz was patrolling our neighborhood as there have been recent incidences of car break-ins here. He saw the light and wanted to make sure everything was okay and nothing missing from my car. So courteous and polite and concerned.
Thank you, Officer Ortiz for checking on us and our neighborhood.
