The People-Sentinel can help. The newspaper is launching a travel club in 2024 with three trips.
"Reporting the news and keeping our community informed is our most important job. However, we also believe it's important to build community and friendships within the community we serve. That's why we are pleased to start a travel club next year. It's the perfect way to see the world while forming new friendships with others from our community," said Jonathan Vickery, publisher of the newspaper.
In partnership with Premier World Discovery, The People-Sentinel has planned guided group trips to the following three destinations:
All trips include roundtrip airfare, deluxe hotel accommodations, professional tour director, attractions per itinerary, most meals, fees/taxes, etc. Transportation to and from the airport is included.
"Traveling is an important part of my life and has afforded me the chance to see scenic places in our beautiful country as well as Scotland and Ireland. Many friends have told me they enjoy following my travels on Facebook, so I'm excited to offer this chance to travel as a community," said Vickery.
If you want to learn more about these trips, please attend one of the travel shows on Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Palmetto Innovation Center (218 Main Street, Barnwell). Shows will be at 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.
