Macedonia Elementary-Middle School held its Fall Induction Ceremony for the National Beta Club on Oct. 13.
The purpose was to recognize 50 scholars who are to become National Beta members. MEMS is very proud to have been inducting members since 1991 and look forward to continuing this tradition for many years to come.
The National Beta Club is the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. Beta is committed to providing a positive experience in a supportive manner while recognizing and promoting academic achievement, encouraging service to others, and developing character and leadership skills. Since its beginnings in 1934, The National Beta Club has worked with over five and a half million young people in grades 4-8 (Junior Beta Club) and grades 9-12 (Senior Beta Club).
