Keep Barnwell County Beautiful held a trash clean up on September 30 on Oak Avenue in Blackville.
A total of 13 volunteers picked up 37 bags of trash, three tires, two televisions, and one chair. Darlene Sanders set up a roll off dumpster for easy disposal and aided in getting the county to clean up an illegal dump site at the end of Oak Avenue near Highway 3.
In Barnwell, Liz and Paul Ringus picked up trash on October 1 on Hugh Street.
