Stag is in need of surgery, donations, and eventually a forever home.
The Animal Advocates pulled Stag from the Barnwell County Animal Shelter.
"He needs femoral head ostectomy surgery on an old injury to his leg. Without the surgery, his leg will have to be amputated. Please assist us in providing the care this 2-year-old sweet guy needs by donating to his surgery," said Missy Platts with the Animal Advocates.
Stag is currently on pain medication and joint support medication in preparation for his surgery.
"We are hoping after his surgery, Stag will be looking for his forever home," said Platts.
