SRP Federal Credit Union awards scholarships to children of employees

North Augusta – SRP Federal Credit Union had two proud team members as their children were announced as the 2023 winners of the Ed Templeton Scholarship and the Larry Pridemore Scholarship. These scholarships have been set up by the Board of Directors of SRP and are awarded annually to a child of a full-time employee. The parents of the scholarship recipients this year were Ms. Shameika Carter, Williston Branch Assistant Manager, and Ms. Tawan­aca Williams, Community Development Representative.

The $2,500 Ed Templeton Scholarship, named in honor of SRP Federal Credit Union’s past President retired, was awarded to Miss Kaitlyn Simmons, daughter of Ms. Shameika Carter. Kaitlyn graduated from Williston-Elko High School and is attending Clemson University where she majors in Biology.

The $1,000 Larry Pridemore Scholarship, honoring retired Board member Larry Pridemore, was presented to Miss Brandie McIntosh, daughter of Tawanaca Williams. Brandie was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. She is attending Georgia State University as a Psychology major.
