The Rhodus family, formerly of Williston, was blessed with the birth of Jayla Rose, making this the fifth generation for the Rhodus family.

Jayla Rose was born at Lexington Medical Center on December 23, 2022. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
She is the daughter of Sheaffer McCormack and Jaywon Jones of Newberry.
She is the great-great-granddaughter of Rita Rhodus and the late Bill Rhodus, formerly of Williston, and the late Colie and Joye Shealy of Prosperity.
She is the great-granddaughter of Stan and Susan Rhodus Derrick of Irmo and Phil and Susan Shealy of Chapin.
She is the granddaughter of Clif and Heather Shealy Smith of Prosperity and Jason McCormack of Little Mountain.
