Jason Lee Cook will perform a concert in Allendale on February 18.
Jason Lee Cook will be in concert in Allendale in February sponsored by the Allendale Rural Arts Team (ART).
The country music artist and his band will perform at the Carolina Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 18. Admission is free but a $5 donation at the door will be appreciated to support the arts in Allendale County.
Cook considers his music as “southern rock, gospel, folk and a little bit of rock and roll.”
Cook is the recipient for “Tour of the Year” by the Carolina Country Music Awards. He is also a gold winner for “U.S. Male Vocalist of the Year” from the International Singer Songwriters Association.
“My mission as a singer/songwriter is to provide an escape for the world we live in,” said Cook. “I want to sing and write songs that speak to your heart and take you on a soulful journey.”
“My hope is, that in the end, you will feel enlightened by the message and be reminded that life is truly a blessing.”
The event is being supported in part by USC Salkehatchie and the South Carolina Arts Commission.
The Allendale Rural Arts Team is a non-profit organization supporting the arts in Allendale County.
The Carolina Theatre is located at 425 Main Street North in Allendale.
