The rain clouds parted for the Town of Blackville’s annual food festival, Taste of Blackville, on March 23.
Main Street was filled with food trucks and vendors selling their culinary creations, such as fried dough, fish sandwiches, locally produced honey treats, and homemade southern comfort food. The community came out to support the event with lines at each truck and table.
A pick-up basketball game attracted youth and events like bingo were offered for adults. Numerous information tables for local services and groups were also present.
