Winfield Heights Baptist Church received a $7,500 donation from Crane to support its food pantry ministry.

The Williston church has operated the food pantry, which serves not only Williston but all of Barnwell County, for more than 15 years. Each month they serve an average of more than 100 families.

"The Crane Charitable Funds touch the lives of many through its efforts to support issues around food insecurity, affordable housing, education, health, environmental protection, animal welfare, and many other worthy causes. We are proud to be a supporter of the food pantry of Winfield Heights,” said Crane.

Rev. Jamie Wootten of Winfield Heights Baptist Church said "this very generous contribution will allow us to serve holiday meals to hundreds of families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. We are grateful for Crane and the way they give back to support their local community."

The food pantry is located at the church (315 Chester Street, Williston).
