On July 1, 2023, Barnwell resident Betty Ann Keel celebrated her 91st birthday with friends and family at the social hall of Kline Baptist Church. The theme of her party was “91 and still having fun.”
She was joined by her sons, Robert Keel, Jody Keel, and Mike Keel. She was also surrounded by her grandchildren: Susanah Keel-Arendt (Louisville, KY), Kristy Keel-Blackmon (Knoxville, TN), Melissa Keel (Las Vegas, NV), Courtney Rose Sherwood (Colorado Springs, CO), and Joey Sherwood (Colorado Springs, CO).
Betty Ann was born on July 1, 1932 in Barnwell.
