The People-Sentinel advertising sales representative Jana Darnell Schroeder won seven state awards.
The 2023 PALMY advertising awards are awarded through the S.C. Press Association to recognize the top advertising professionals and advertisers around the state.
“Jana does an excellent job handling advertising sales and design for the newspaper. She is super talented and creative, which is evident in each ad she creates. I am proud of her," said publisher Jonathan Vickery.
“I am so honored to have my work recognized by the S.C. Press Association in the 2023 PALMY Advertising Awards. I would like to thank my advertisers for putting their trust in me to design their ads. I have always loved having the freedom of creativity in designing ads for my customers,” said Schroeder.
She encourages businesses to not be dependent solely on social media to promote their business. “You are missing out on a lot of potential customers who do not participate in social media,” she said.
