Sgt. Danner thanks a Good Samaritan

To the Editor of The People Sentinel,

This is in reference to a well deserved person known as our Mayor of Barnwell. I was out of town when I learned that my family was home without electricity. I decided that I would leave the conference that I was attending and advance toward home. While I was enroute home I started calling Home Depot, Lowe’s , Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight hoping they would have a generator available for sale to no avail. While pondering in my mind as to who I could call, the Mayor Ron Still popped up. I called him to ask if he knew of anyone that would have access to a generator I could buy or borrow as I was deeply concerned about my food in the refrigerator. He immediately responded “I have one and you are welcomed to use it. I know People say “favor ain’t fair “ but it is when it comes from God. Not only did he offer me to use it he took it to my house and hooked it up to my appliances before I arrived home. I had no way to stop God’s blessing from coming my way. Psalm 84:11 says “No good thing will I withhold from them that walk upright before me “. I owe God a praise and special thanks to the Good Samaritan Mayor Ron Still. We were able to keep it until our power was restored. “Won’t he do it”?
