WILLISTON - Funeral services for Grady Wilson Campbell, 79, of Williston, S.C. will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Ashleigh Baptist Church, with the Reverend Joe Wilburn officiating. The family will receive friends at 3:30 p.m., until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
Grady passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 28, 2026.
Born in Bamberg County, S.C., he was the son of the late Tom Campbell and Bertha Mae Joyner Campbell and was married to Marie Croft Campbell for 59 years. Grady was a hardworking man who spent his career as a rigger at Savannah River Site until his retirement. He was a member of Ashleigh Baptist Church, where his church family held a special place in his heart.
An outdoorsman at heart, Grady especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved riding his golf cart, watching his garden grow, and sharing the fruits and vegetables from his garden with friends. A sports fan, he enjoyed watching football and baseball. Above all, Grady treasured spending time with his children and grandchildren. His family was a great source of happiness and pride throughout his life.
Grady is survived by his loving wife, Marie Croft Campbell; sons, Gregg (Jamie) Campbell of Williston and McKenzie (Kristin) Campbell of Blackstock; and Charles (Barbara) Scarlette of Summerfield, North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madison Campbell, Hailey Campbell (Marshall) Hagan, Ava Campbell, Jaxson Campbell, and Isaiah Campbell; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Grady was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris Croft and Helen Lott.

The boys would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to their mother for the unwavering love, care, and devotion she gave their father. Her strength, compassion, and countless sacrifices will forever be remembered and deeply appreciated.

Grady will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, faithful church member, and a man who found his greatest joys in the simple blessings of family, faith, friendship, and the outdoors.
