N. CHARLESTON - Lorine Bowers Craddock, 101, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Hugh Hamilton Craddock Sr., entered into eternal rest Friday, December 1, 2023 surrounded by her family. Her graveside service will be held Thursday, December 7, 2023, in the Great Saltkehatchie Cemetery, Ulmer, at 11 a.m. Keith Smith Funeral Services will be handling the graveside services. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Mrs. Craddock was the youngest child of Ira Lee Bowers and Janie Brant Bowers. She was born in Sycamore, S.C. on December 9, 1921, and a graduate of Allendale Centralized High School in the class of 1939. She was an active member of Wando Woods Baptist Church where she served on various committees, a member of the Women's Missionary Union, the church choir, Keenagers and president of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was a volunteer at Roper Hospital and an active member of Wando Woods Civic Club. She retired after thirty years of service, as a Supervisory Contracting Officer in the Purchase Department at the Naval Supply Center, where she received many awards.

She is survived by one son, Hugh H. "Bud" Craddock Jr. and his wife, Jacquelyn J. of Asheville, N.C.; two granddaughters, Celeste C. Billington, and her husband Richard R. Billington Jr. of McClellanville, S.C., and Dawn C. Micalizzi and her husband, Marc A. Micalizzi of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; five great-grandchildren: Sydney Howe Cochran (Ryan), Gedney M. Howe, IV (Mae), Thad M. Micalizzi (Victoria), Charles A. Howe, Cooper A. Micalizzi; one great-great-granddaughter, Marybelle B. Howe; and her loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved great-great-granddaughter, Molly Jane Micalizzi.
