WILLISTON - Russell Field Kent, 68, of Williston, S.C. passed away at home on Monday, October 6, 2025.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11 o'clock a.m. in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, S.C. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
Born in Kingsport, TN, he was a son of the late Harold Kent and Helen Field Kent and was married to his wife Susan Shenot Kent for 43 years. Russell owned and operated Rainbow Painting Company along with his wife for a number of years until their retirement. He enjoyed working in the yard and was a big Carolina Gamecock fan.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Susan Kent; his son, Brandon (Sabrina) Kent of Williston; a daughter, Jessica Ann Harrleson of Irmo; his grandchildren, Braydon, Isabella and Cameron Kent and Jade and Jordyn Harrelson; a sister-in-law, Melody Kent; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his brothers, Lester and Edward Kent.
