ALLENDALE - Raul Garcia Mora, 69, died June 2, 2025 at his home.
Mr. Mora was born in Tlaxnepantlla, Mexico and became a citizen of the United States in 2014.
He was retired after more than 20 years from the Clemson University Edisto Research Center in Blackville, S.C.
He is survived by his son, Juan (Elsa) Guiane; five grandchildren, Agustin, Juan, Joanna, Elizabeth and Jose; and one great-grandchild, Ellie.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 3 p.m. at the Swallow Savannah Cemetery with Father John Brittain officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 11, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Keith Smith Funeral Service, 128 Water Street, Allendale, S.C.
