Born in Fairfax, Marc was the son of the late Miller Loadholt and Ruth Ann Hanna Loadholt. He was a member of St. Nicholas Lutheran Church and also attended Healing Springs Baptist Church. Marc was the co-owner and operator of Loadholts Cars, Inc. in Fairfax for more than 50 years, where he became a familiar face and friend to many throughout the community.
Marc had a lifelong love of sports and especially enjoyed coaching softball. Over the years, he coached the town league “Doodahs” as well as church softball, creating many friendships and memories along the way. As much as he enjoyed coaching, nothing meant more to Marc than supporting his children and grandchildren. He rarely missed a ballgame, performance, or special event and could always be counted on to be one of their biggest supporters.
Known for his warm smile and outgoing personality, Marc never met many strangers. Whether he was cheering from the sidelines or visiting with members of his own team and the opposing team, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He especially enjoyed encouraging young people to do their best and had a special gift for making each child feel noticed and important. His kindness, encouragement, and genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on the many lives he touched.
Above all, Marc was a devoted family man. He shared 52 loving years of marriage with his wife, Rose Marie Ayala Loadholt, and treasured the life and family they built together. His children and grandchildren were a tremendous source of pride and joy, and the time he spent with them was among his greatest blessings.
Marc is survived by his loving wife, Rose Loadholt of the home; his son, Marc (Brandy) Loadholt of Fairfax; his daughter, Cassie Loadholt Carpenter of Gilbert; and his beloved grandchildren, MMFN Connor Loadholt, U.S. Navy, Carter Loadholt, Colson Loadholt, Carrie Lynn Loadholt, Emma Rose Carpenter, and Lillian Ruth Carpenter; sisters, Diane Loadholt Gibson and Jenny Loadholt Jackson; brothers, Ernest (Jenny) Loadholt and Tim (Didi) Loadholt; aunt, Catherine Loadholt; sisters-in-law, Anita Varnadoe and Vana Sanders; brother-in-law, Antonio (Makinda) Robles; and a number of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, Marc was preceded in death by his grandson, Marc Daniel Loadholt; and his brothers-in-law, John Ayala and Rocky Robles.
Marc will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for sports, his dedication to his community, and, most of all, the way he made people feel valued and encouraged. His warm smile, generous spirit, and steadfast support of those he loved will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
