AIKEN - Linda Blanton Currie, 86, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Born in Tabor City, N.C., Linda was the daughter of the late A.J. Blanton and Bernice Ward Blanton. A devoted homemaker for most of her life, she found her greatest joy in caring for her family and creating a loving home. Her children and grandchildren held a very special place in her heart, and the time she spent with them was among her greatest treasures.
Linda had a love for collecting dreamsicle figurines and Fenton glass, building collections that reflected the things she enjoyed throughout the years. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the many memories they created together. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her two sons, Victor Currie and William Currie, both of Aiken, S.C.; her grandchildren, Nikita Nicole Currie, Courtney Victoria Currie, Collin Donovan Currie; her sisters, Kay McDowell of Little River, S.C., Judy Blackmon of Chadbourn, N.C., and Betty Blanton of Tabor City, N.C.; and her brother, Larry Blanton of Tabor City, N.C.
Linda's life was centered around those she loved most, and her memory will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, siblings, and all who knew and loved her.
