BRUNSON - Mr. James Ray Crosby, of Brunson, passed away June, 24, 2025, at the age of 66.
He was born on January 22, 1959, to the late Albert Benjamin Crosby Sr. and Hattie Rita Simmons Crosby. He was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School and Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.
Ray is survived by one brother, Albert Benjamin Crosby Jr. (Glenda); niece, Laura Crosby Wangsness (Ryan); and nephew, Philip M. Terry Jr. (Stephanie). Also surviving are two great nephews and one great niece. He was predeceased by his sister, Rita Lynn Crosby; and his step-daughter, Ashley Freeman Henninger.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will follow immediately after the service in the church social hall.
