ALLENDALE - James (Jim) Dwight Stewart of Eden, Ga. and Allendale, S.C. passed away on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, at the age of 73 due to natural causes. Jim was born in Hampton, Va. on January 20th, 1953, to the late Jack Stewart and Nancy Rea Morrison.

Jim worked in land clearing, logging, trucking, and was a representative of the Teamsters Port Division. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, trains, beekeeping, and operating heavy machinery. He was involved with his community and wanted to make friends with everyone around him. He spoke his mind and told lots of stories. He was easy to be around and a kind man.

Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shree Stewart; his mother, Nancy Rea Morrison; his brother-in-law, Vernon (Tiffany) Hendrix; his 3 sons, Mitchell (Cindy) Beasley, Bryan (Jessika) Beasley, and Jason Beasley; his grandchildren, Baileigh, Jacob, Jared, Leighann, Richelle, Emily, Weston, Rylinn, Tom Tom, Ryleigh, and Luke Beasley; as well as his sister Diane Johnson, brother John Stewart, his many cherished friends, and his beloved dog Jax.

Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17th, at Lower Blackcreek Cemetery, Ellabell, Ga.
