SPRINGFIELD - Funeral services for Flossie Hutto Davis, 92, of Springfield, S.C. will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel Williston, S.C. with the Reverend Henry Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at the funeral home in Williston.
Flossie passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
Born February 2, 1934, in Pine Hill, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Julian Hutto and Ruth Rebecca Harley Hutto Spires and was married to the late Rodney James Davis. Flossie was a hardworking woman who spent more than 50 years working at Salley Manufacturing. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially working in her flowers and spending time outdoors. In her younger years, she enjoyed attending flea markets, where she loved buying and selling different treasures she found along the way.
Above all, Flossie treasured her family and the time she shared with those she loved. She leaves behind a family filled with many cherished memories of a long life well lived.
Survivors include her daughter, Johnnie Ruth Davis of Springfield; grandchildren, Jacklyn (Jason) Hall, James “Jamie” (Carol) Davis, Bryan Davis, Julian (Christee) Davis, and Johnathan (Ivy) Davis; great-grandchildren, Grady Hall, Bennett Hall, Isabella Grace Davis, Andrew Felton Davis, Jaxon Eli Davis, Bradley John Davis, Annslee Ruth Davis, Abby Worley, and Seth (Kelli) Worley; and great-great-grandchildren, Bristol Worley and B.K. Worley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jasurual “Jack” Davis, as well as her brothers and sisters.
