Lin and Sharon Blakeney of Allendale County celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently.
The couple married June 11, 1976 at Luray Christian Church in Luray, S.C. They celebrated their Golden Anniversary with a trip to Laurel, Mississippi to be with family.
God has blessed the couple through the years. They are both retired and enjoy traveling together to explore new places.
The couple has two children – Benji (Andrea) Blakeney and April (Paul) Widener. They also have five grandchildren – Bryce, Mary South, Ollie, and Ava Blakeney, and Allie Widener.
Hard work, faith and love has guided them through life.
