ALLENDALE - Sherri Lynn Smith, age 61, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
Sherri was a native of Allendale and the daughter of the late Marshall P. Smith Sr. and Julia Mae Smith.
She attended Allendale Academy and was member of Allendale First Baptist Church. She worked many years at Scotsman in Fairfax. She never met a stranger and enjoyed people and cherished her family.
Family members include two stepsons, Jimmy William Ray and John Robert Ray Jr.; one brother, Marshall P. Smith Jr. (Tammy); one sister, Krystal S. Teems; two aunts, Mary Frances Smith and Patty S. Johnson; several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Swallow Savannah Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
