Sean passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024.
Born in Aiken County, S.C., he was a son of Katherine “Kathy” Widener Bivens and the late Orville Raymond Smith. Sean loved helping people and was an exceptional father, brother and grandfather. Before his motorcycle accident, he was very independent and was grateful for his family who took care of him after his accident. He loved eating at Waffle House and Mi Rancho and he also enjoyed drinking chocolate milk and eating Blue Bell ice cream. He previously worked as a truck driver for CDJ Trucking Company.
In addition to his mother, Kathy Bivens, he is survived by his daughter, Desiree Maltby (Mitchell Prescott) of Aiken, S.C.; a son, Dylan Whitlock of North Augusta, S.C.; one grandson, William Prescott; sisters, Shannon Smith and Christy (Darrell) Craig; brothers, Brent Smith and Chad Smith, all of Windsor, S.C.; his life-long best friend, Dwayne (April) Ingram; nephews, Jesse Smith (Beth Wright), Blaze Baxley, and Cody Smith; nieces, Emma Thompson, Phoenix Maltby, Raya Smith, and April Smith; eight step-grandchildren, Chase (Libby) Stone, Garrett Stone, Natlie (Scott) Moore, Grace Rushton, Jeffrey Stone, Hailey Stone, Wesley Rushton, and JoJo Stone; two step-great grandchildren, Huxley Stone and Stetson Moore.
