Born in Augusta, GA, he was a son of Joe David Overton and Janie Lou Mays and was married to Beth Overton. He was a fabricator having worked at Quality Metal Products in New Ellenton, S.C. for a number of years. He was an active member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church where he enjoyed playing and coaching church sporting events. His church family was very special to him; he loved fellowshipping and worshipping with his friends. Anyone who knew Ryan, knew that he loved his Mt. Dews and his favorite pair of sunglasses. He found joy in the simple things in life; you could often find him gazing at the beautiful moon in the night sky and would often take photos and share with his family and friends. Ryan loved all genres of music and also enjoyed fishing any chance that he could and also enjoyed a good game of golf. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and enjoyed spending time in the Great Smokey Mountains with his family. He was such an amazing person who poured every ounce of himself into supporting and loving those around him. There was never a missed game, never a hug wasted, and he always made sure they knew he was their biggest fans.
He was truly a genuine, loving father, husband, son, and friend. As his family, though we will miss him greatly, we are delighted in the fact to know that he is no longer suffering in pain.
