Bubbie is a 10-year-old black and white domestic longhair, and Wettles is a 9-year-old gray seal point beauty. These gentle, low-maintenance ladies share something very special—they share each other.
When they arrived in our care, we discovered that Bubbie is FeLV positive and Wettles is a carrier. Through it all, they’ve remained inseparable. They sleep curled together, move together, and find comfort in one another. Because of this, they must be adopted together as a bonded pair.
Bubbie is currently thriving and showing no symptoms. She enjoys the simple things—soft bedding, quiet companionship, and the steady presence of her best friend. Wettles is her calm shadow and loyal protector.
Due to FeLV, they must be the only cats in the home, unless you already have a FeLV-positive kitty who could welcome two new friends. FeLV is contagious between cats, and our shelter has followed strict protocols to prevent spread within the facility.
These girls aren’t asking for much—just a peaceful home, a sunny window, and someone willing to give them the love they deserve for their golden years. If you’re unfamiliar with FeLV, we are more than happy to walk you through what that means and answer any questions.
Sometimes the most meaningful adoptions are the ones that save not just one life—but two.
