140 students complete programs at Barnwell County Career Center

The Barnwell County Career Center held its annual completer’s ceremony on Monday, May 2, 2024. There were two sessions. The first session was held at 8 a.m., and the second session was held at 12 p.m.

A completer is a Career and Technology Education (CTE) concentrator who has earned all of the required units in a state recognized CTE program. The speaker for the occasion was Barnwell County Sheriff’s Office First Sergeant John Holston.

These 140 students are either currently attending or have graduated from Barnwell High School, Blackville-Hilda High School, Williston-Elko High school, or are homeschooled.
